Caring for soft surfaces (bedding products) is an essential element in any infection prevention and control program. Soft surfaces present a challenge because of the frequency in which you’re able to clean them.

With SleepAngel Medical Barrier Bedding, this challenge no longer exists as the products are a barrier to microbial contamination and the cleaning and disinfection can be done on site:
Before start, remove any bedlinen or removable cover used.
1️⃣ visually inspect the product’s seams, fabric, and filters for damage or holes
Before cleaning, ensure that all cleaning and disinfection agents in use comply with manufacturers guidelines. 
2️⃣ Clean with mild detergent and water solution after each patient discharge or when soiled.
3️⃣ Disinfect following manufacturers guidelines.
4️⃣ Wait to dry.
The product is now ready to use.
